KUALA LUMPUR BIRD PARK




The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is 7-16 hectares public aviary located adjacent to the Perdana Lake Gardens of Kuala Lumpur. As a popular tourist attraction in Malaysia, it was receiving an average of 200,000 visitors every year.  It has more than 5, 000 birds, from more than 50 species in an enclosed aviary, which is 90% of it are local birds.



There is also a Bul Bul Land located just next to Flamingo Pond which placed about 130 species of Bulbuls (medium-sized perching song birds).

There is an additional Bird Show at 10.30am, at Zone 4 Amphitheater on Public Holidays only.

Hornbill Restaurant & Café


Get rid of your thirsty and hungry feeling in a Malay Kampung House architecture of restaurant at Hornbill Restaurant & Café. It is located within the Hornbill Park of KL Bird Park. This restaurant was set up as a three-tiered restaurant which can hold up to 100 pax at upper and middle tieres and up to 60 pax at lower deck. This restaurant offers a wide selection of local and western meals, and finely prepared by the restaurant’s highly experienced chefs.

How To Get There?


1. By Public Transport




  • Take Rapid KL Bus No. B115 from Kotaraya to Jalan Parlimen


  • By KL Hop-On-Hop-Off Double Decker Tour Bus Service:

  • You need to disembark at Station No. 14 in front of KL Bird Park Main Entrance. Buses will be available at every 30 to 45 minutes interval.

  • By KTM Commuter Train:


  • You need to disembark at the KTM Old Railway Kuala Lumpur Station located near the National Mosque.

  • Public taxis – It is advisable to look for taxis that uses the coupon or meter system.

  • If you are from Jalan Bangsar:

  •     Head straight towards KTM Railway Station round-a-bout, turn left towards Masjid Negara

  • If you are from Jalan Mahameru:

  •     Turn left into Jalan Parlimen. At traffic light, turn right towards the Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens.
